California State Licensure Pass Rates
Shasta College is making the following information about its educational programs available to current and prospective students. Comprehensive program information can is found in the Shasta College Catalog and can also be provided by our division and program departments.
Schools are required by federal and state education entities to provide specific consumer information to current and prospective students. Per California Assembly Bill (AB) 2086, Shasta College is providing information on how to access the most recent license examination passage rates for students who have graduated from a program that leads to employment that requires state licensure. Not all licensing agencies make pass rate information for individual schools available; however, a link to each agency's website is provided for students to access any data that is published.
Links for programs that require state licensure are provided below, along with links where you can find information and license exam pass rates, when that data has been made available through the website of the state licensing or regulatory agency.
State Licensing Exam Passage Rates
Explore the links for the programs listed below. Only those programs that offer a Certificate of Achievement or Associate degree are eligible for financial aid.
Shasta College’s Addiction studies certificate and associate’s degree program is accredited by the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP). and prepares students to take any one of the three tests recognized by California’s Department of Health Care Services (DHCS).
A degree in Dental Hygiene prepares students to take the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE).

Licensure Information: National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE)
The AS Degree in Registered Nursing prepares students for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) at the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) level.

The AS Degree and Certificate of Achievement in Licensed Vocational Nursing prepare students for licensure.

This Certificate of Achievement prepares students for state certification as a Nursing Assistant through the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP).
Students who complete this certificate are prepared to take the CLCA Certified Landscape Technician Exam.
Licensure Information: California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR)
Upon completing this degree, students will be prepared to take the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
