Heidi Loftus

Heidi Loftus serves as the Internship Work Experience Coordinator in Shasta College's Employment and Workforce Development Department, where she oversees the CalWORKs Work Study Program. As a Shasta College alumna, she is passionate about connecting students with meaningful work-based learning opportunities that support their educational and career goals.

Before joining EWD, Heidi spent nearly eight years in Shasta College's Financial Aid Office, where she specialized in state financial aid programs and student support. Her experience advocating for historically underserved students shaped her student-centered approach, emphasizing barrier removal, resource connection, and equitable access to opportunities—principles that continue to guide her work with CalWORKs students. 

Heidi is dedicated to building employer partnerships that help students gain valuable work experience while preparing for long-term career success. She earned her transfer degree in Psychology from Shasta College and is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in Psychology at National University.
