Mandy Trusas

Mandy Trusas is a mother of three and an active member of her community. She has been consistently involved in volunteer service, particularly with youth-focused organizations, and values efforts that promote student growth, leadership development, and access to opportunity.
Mandy, her late husband, and their oldest daughter all began their higher education at Shasta College. She holds a strong appreciation for the role community colleges play in providing an accessible and supportive foundation for students pursuing their academic goals.
Mandy previously practiced as a dental hygienist, working alongside her husband, a dentist. Following his passing, she stepped away from her professional role to devote her time to her family and continued community involvement. In 2024, she joined the Shasta College Foundation Board because it aligns with her commitment to strengthening educational pathways for future generations.
