Ms. Ioanna “Yanna” Iatridis currently serves as Associate Vice President for Economic and Workforce Development (EWD) at Shasta College where she oversees external stakeholder relations and the areas of Center of Excellence, Strong Workforce, Senior Adult Education, Employer Engagement, Employer Partnerships, College Corps, the Career Café, and Marketing/Communication/Public Relations, with a budget exceeding $19M annually.

Ms. Iatridis joined Shasta College in 2019 as Dean of Health Sciences and University Programs where she provided leadership to full and part-time clinical faculty in the development and delivery of health educational programs offering students pathways to certificates, degrees, and professional licensure. In 2021, Ms. Iatridis worked at the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office as Dean of Workforce and Economic Development Division where she directed the administration and management of over $1B in annual state and federal grants (Perkins, SWP, K12SWP) in support of Career and Technical Education programs across the 116 California Community Colleges.

Prior to Shasta College, Ms. Iatridis served as Dean of Career Technical Education and Workforce Development at Woodland Community College, Associate Professor in Business and Accounting, Program Manager for Yolo County Office of Education, Vice President of Marketing & Product Management, General Manager for Ameritech Communications, Inc., and was an Independent Consultant, where she consulted start-up businesses and existing enterprises on business development, client services, strategic planning, organizational development, staffing, sales and marketing.

Yanna’s desire to help our North State communities is exemplified through her involvement Redding Chamber of Commerce, as well as serving as a board member of the SMART Center and Shasta Family YMCA. She also has a multi-faceted perspective on rural challenges faced by Trinity County from her husband’s work as the Director of Transportation. Yanna and her husband of 33 years, also a Greek immigrant, have two daughters—one practicing law in Chicago and the other in Texas’s Health and Wellness industry. When she’s not traveling across the North State in support of her college and department, Yanna enjoys reading and traveling.

She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Humanities from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana.
