Competency Based Education Professional Development Day at Shasta College

Shasta College launched its first direct assessment competency-based education program in Fall 2025 (Early Childhood Education Competency Certificate). We will launch a second in Spring 2027 (noncredit agricultural technology certificate, AgSTEP). This is a day to remember how this started, showcase where we are now, and envision where we are going.
