Associate Dean of Economic and Workforce Development
Angela Cordell is the Regional Director of Employer Engagement of Business and Entrepreneurship for the Far North Region. Ms. Cordell works to create pathways from high schools to the region’s seven community colleges, works with industry partners to identify skill gaps and workforce needs, manages one of the region’s SB1402 grants and supports Strong Workforce grant activity.
Ms. Cordell holds a BA in Public Relations and a minor in Women’s Studies from CSU, Chico and is currently a candidate for an MBA in International Business from Northcentral University.
Ms. Cordell began her career in Sacramento in 2005 and has since worked with clients throughout the state, helping them develop and strategize new programs, products and services. In 2016, she became the Far North Deputy Sector Navigator of Global Trade and Logistics and the Director of The Far North Center for International Trade Development, based at Feather River College.
