Derrick Pringle

Derrick Pringle Jr. serves as the Student Services Program Specialist for College Corps at Shasta College and has proudly dedicated nearly two decades to higher education. He is recognized for his strong leadership, positive attitude, and unwavering commitment to supporting student success.

Derrick earned his bachelor’s degree from Puget Sound Christian College and his Master of Arts degree from Simpson University. His passion for serving others is reflected in his work with students, where he provides encouragement, mentorship, and guidance to help individuals overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Beyond higher education, Derrick has a deep passion for basketball and helping others achieve greatness through sports. He has spent many years coaching and mentoring youth, focusing on culture building, leadership development, and academic excellence. Through his coaching and service, Derrick emphasizes the importance of character, teamwork, and personal growth.

Derrick embodies the mission and vision of Shasta College and College Corps through his servant leadership, dedication, and commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for students and the campus community.
