Dr. Timothy Johnston
Assistant Superintendent/Vice President of Student Services
Tim Johnston has served as the Vice President of Student Services since January 2017 and has been the Dean of Enrollment Services since 2013. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, Dr. Johnston received his master’s degree and doctorate in Education from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Johnston is a champion of community college education and its power to transform lives. He serves as the Chair of the Student Services Council, Co-Chairs the Scholastic Standards Committee and is a member of the Instructional Council. Dr. Johnston focuses on the work of the Student Equity and Achievement Program which seeks to support student success particularly for students from traditionally underrepresented groups.
During his free time, Dr. Johnston and his wife enjoy gardening, hiking, reading and listening to their four children play music.
