Dr. Zachary Zweigle

Zachary Zweigle serves as the Division Dean for Business, Agriculture, and Career Technical Education. He is a San Joaquin Valley native and proud California Community College graduate with Associate of Arts in Social Science from Reedley College. He also completed a B.A. and M.A. in History from California State University, Fresno, and a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration and Instructional Leadership. His history graduate research focused on the British Royal Air Force, and his doctoral research examined multi-generational diversity in the community college classroom. Professionally, he has published and presented on both topics.

Zweigle began his career as history faculty and went on to serve as Department Chair for Social Sciences at Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield, Missouri. In 2017, he moved back to California and transitioned into the role of Dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Library, and the Academic Success Center at College of the Siskiyous. In 2019, he began his current role as Dean of Career Technical Education at Shasta College. He attributes his success to the solid foundation received years ago as a community college student, and as such, he is honored to pay it forward to the next generation of California Community College students. In his free time, Zweigle is a runner, licensed pilot, aircraft builder, and aviation advocate.
