Mike Mari
Dean of DAPS/Athletic Director
Mike Mari has been a member of the Shasta College Foundation since 2019. As of the spring of 2014, Mike is the Dean of Shasta College's Physical Education and Athletics (PEAT) Division. Prior to joining Shasta College, Mike was the head football coach and athletic director for Mendocino College.
Mike attended Humboldt State University where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology while also playing four seasons for the Lumberjack football program. After Humboldt State University, Mike played two seasons in the Arena Football League. With his playing career completed Mike then became the head football coach and athletic director for St. Bernard’s high school in Eureka, CA.
Mike spends his free time with his wife Tara, and their four lovely children, Madeline, Mairead, Makenzie, and Anthony.
