Shasta College 73rd Annual Art Student Exhibit

Shasta College presents the 73rd Annual Art Student Exhibit, May 5th – May 19th. They proudly welcome juror J. Pouwels. J. Pouwels is a Painting, Drawing, and Foundations instructor at CSU Chico. He will choose an exhibit from the submitted works of Shasta College art students and will award the most exceptional pieces with awards totaling over $4000. The exhibition features a wide range of visual practices, spanning all genres and media. The gallery is open Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Juror’s Lecture will be on Thursday, April 30th,1:00 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. in Room 400 on Shasta College main campus. The Reception and Awards Ceremony will be on Thursday, May 7th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Shasta College Art Gallery. This is a free event open to the public.
