Posting Flyers & Posters on Campus

How Approval Works

• Shasta College departments and public-facing materials
  Posters representing Shasta College or intended for the general campus community must be created or approved by the Marketing Department.
• Student clubs and registered non-profits
  Posters from active Shasta College clubs, organizations, or registered non-profits may be reviewed and approved by Student Life/Student Senate.
  
  To receive approval:
  • Bring all flyers to the Student Life Office (Room 2318)
  • Student Life will review the materials
  • Approved posters will receive a Student Life stamp and be posted on designated bulletin boards by our team members

Please note: Club/student-created materials may not use the official Shasta College logo or brand marks (including the Knight or joined SC).

All posters must contain: Name of organization, contact, event date/time/location (if applicable).

Posting Locations

• Posters will only be placed on designated bulletin boards by the Student Life/Student Senate team.
• Materials posted in non-designated areas (such as doors, windows, or exterior walls) will be removed. If materials are removed, Student Senate will contact the listed point of contact to arrange pick-up.

Materials That Do Not Qualify

• Flyers that do not meet the above guidelines (such as advertisements for for-profit businesses) may be posted on the quad kiosk instead.
