  • Students have the option of scheduling either an in-person or HIPAA compliant telehealth appointment.
  • Students must complete required documents and upload a copy of their state issued photo ID (driver’s license or State ID) in the Student Health & Wellness Portal prior to their appointment.
  • Please call as far in advance as possible if you need to reschedule an appointment so we can offer the appointment to someone else.
  • Student Health & Wellness services are available to Shasta College students who have paid the semester health fee and are for the current semester. Enrollment is verified with each visit.

Psychological Counseling Appointments

The Psychological Counselor provides services to students on an appointment basis. We will try to accommodate students who need walk-in appointments at any time during the day. Students can book a “walk-in” appointment up to 24 hours in advance.

  • Appointments are usually 45 minutes.
  • Students arriving more than 15 minutes late for an appointment will be re-scheduled.
  • If you do not show up for your scheduled appointments or have repeated cancellations, you'll be directed to walk-ins.

Medical Appointments

  • The College Nurse provides services to students on an appointment basis. We will try to accommodate students who need walk-in appointments at any time during the day. College Nurse appointments are usually 20 minutes.
  • Doctor Clinic appointments are usually 20 minutes. MD Clinics are typically offered weekly during the Fall and Spring semesters. Please see available MD Clinic Dates.

The Student Health & Wellness Office is closed on weekends, observed holidays, campus closures, and between semesters. We are also closed during the weeks of Thanksgiving and Spring Break.
