Summary
The Shasta-Tehama-Trinity Joint Community College District’s Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Plan, adopted on June 12, 2024, demonstrates the district’s commitment to foster diversity and ensuring equal employment opportunities in compliance with Title 5 regulations. The Plan focuses on inclusive recruitment and hiring practices, analyzing workforce representation, and creating a welcoming environment. It establishes an EEO Advisory Committee, outlines complaint procedures for noncompliance and discrimination, and emphasizes hiring and retaining staff sensitive to the needs of a diverse student population to enhance the learning experience.

The District Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Advisory Committee serves as an advisory body to the EEO Officer and the District, promoting understanding and support for equal employment policies. - Two faculty (Academic Senate recommended).
- Two administrators (appointed by Superintendent/President).
- One student (Student Senate Recommended).
