Need help covering the cost of books and course materials? Shasta College offers book grants to help reduce your out-of-pocket expenses so you can focus on your classes.
Book grants are free financial assistance and do not need to be repaid.
One Application for Multiple Book Grants
Submit a single application and be considered for available book grant funding.
If you qualify, we’ll match you with the most appropriate funding source based on eligibility requirements and available funds.

Ready to apply? Submit your application as early as possible. Funding is limited and awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

Not sure if you qualify? We encourage you to apply if you meet the basic eligibility requirements below.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be enrolled in 6 or more units.
- Have a 2.0 GPA or higher (new students are also eligible).
- Demonstrate unmet financial need.
- Have not received book assistance through EOPS or another categorical program.
