Hello Graduates and Graduate Candidates!

We look forward to seeing you on the football field for the 71st commencement ceremony Friday, May 21st, 2021, with the graduate arrival time set at 5:30 pm sharp. The plan is to have the ceremony on the field unless weather poses a danger. Please advise your guests to be prepared for possible showers in the event that the forecast changes abruptly. If the plans change, notice will be emailed to all participants and their guests as well as posted on our website by 9:00 a.m. the morning of Graduation. This is not expected due to the weather forecast below.

If weather becomes too dangerous to hold the ceremony outdoors on the field as planned, the ceremony will be moved indoors and graduates will be funneled through the gymnasium to walk the stage and receive their diploma cover. Unfortunately, if the ceremony is moved indoors, we will not be able to accommodate guests. Grad Images will still be present either way, so pictures will be available regardless of weather.

Cap/Gown/Tassel packets are on sale in the bookstore. If you have not already purchased one, please take some time to get that in the next couple of days. You can contact them at 530-242-7574. If you are an honors student you still have time to purchase your honors cord for $11.00 plus tax in the bookstore.
