For Current Students
The Testing Center offers a few different testing services to current students.
The Testing Center (Redding Main Campus | Room 2215) can accommodate make-up testing, including students taking courses at Tehama, Trinity, and Eastern Shasta County, as well as for students taking classes at our Health Sciences and University Center. Make-up testing is offered by appointment only.
This proctoring service is intended to accommodate individual students who need to make up exams due to school related or excused conflicts. Examples include student-athletes who miss an exam due to an athletic contest, students required to serve jury duty, students attending a college-sponsored field trip, or students who are experiencing a personal emergency.

How to Request an Exam through the PACE App
You can now schedule your exams online by accessing the PACE app in the Shasta Portal:
- Log in to the Shasta Portal and click on the PACE app.
- Under the Accommodations on the left side menu, select Alternative Testing.
- If you have never scheduled an exam, you will need to log in to the PACE app to read and sign (type) your name on the testing agreement contract.
- Choose the class you are scheduling a test for on the center drop down menu and click Schedule an Exam.
- If the instructor has already uploaded exam dates, please select your exam, quiz, or final from the list of Available Exam Dates. If your upcoming exam does not appear, go ahead and complete the Exam Request form anyway—the Testing Center will review and process your request.
