Shasta College Bulletin Boards

All posters posted to the bulletin boards on campus must either go through Shasta College’s Marketing Department, or be approved by Shasta College's Student Senate.

Student Senate can only approve marketing material that is from a Registered Non-Profit, or from an active club or organization at Shasta College. In order for the marketing to be considered approved, all material that is intended to be posted must be dropped off to the Student Senate Office, Room 2318. Student Senate will review the material dropped off, and if approved, will give each item their stamped seal. The material will then be posted on bulletin boards on campus.

Any material found posted in non-designated areas (including marketing material produced by the Marketing Department at Shasta College), such as exterior facing doorways, will be removed. Student Senate will reach out to the department that produced the material to schedule a time for pick-up.

If the marketing material is not approved and found posted without permission, Student Senate will remove the posters and will reach out to the person of contact to schedule a time for pick up.

If the marketing material does not fit within these guidelines (such as advertisement for a for-profit business), it has the ability to be posted on the kiosk located in the quad.
