Guidelines for Non-Discrimination Statement Notices

Shasta College is an entity which receives Federal funding in the form of financial aid for our students. Receipt of Federal funds creates a requirement to include a non-discrimination statement in all printed and electronic materials provided to the general public. The general public is defined as individuals who are not Shasta College employees and includes both students and non-students. Following are the guidelines suggested by our legal counsel which outline the non-discrimination statement to be used depending upon the printed or electronic material.

Font Size

The statement must be readable. No less than 8-point font is preferred.
