VN Enrollment Process

Notice of Acceptance

All enrollment placements are based on space availability. Space in the program is limited to 28 students with a new class admitted every third semester.

Once enrollment spaces are determined, applicants will receive an email informing them of their status. Applicants who receive an invitation have the option to defer enrollment one time. 

Registration is conditional on the completion of additional pre-enrollment requirements. Details regarding those requirements will be included in the program invitation emails.

If you have deferred enrollment and wish to have your name withdrawn, please notify us by submitting the Nursing Programs Withdrawal form.

Maintaining Current Contact Information

It is the applicant’s responsibility to maintain current information (name, address, telephone number, email address) with the Health Sciences & University Programs office. The Health Sciences & University Programs office needs the most current information in order to offer the earlier placement opportunity.

Typically emails to AOL, Yahoo and Hotmail accounts from Shasta College are not reliably delivered.  We highly recommend that students & applicants establish e-mail accounts with services such as gmail.com as we have found that emails to these accounts are more reliably delivered.

Therefore, please make sure that we have your current contact information -- especially email address -- by filling out our online Contact Information Change Form if your information changes after you submit your application.
