Welcome to the Shasta College Health Sciences Division!

For over 60 years, our division has been deeply rooted in Shasta, Tehama, and Trinity Counties and the surrounding North State communities. Whether you are a prospective student taking your first steps toward a rewarding healthcare career, or a community partner working alongside us, we are thrilled to connect with you.

At Shasta College, our mission goes beyond the classroom. We are committed to providing our students with excellent professional preparation while helping them build the interpersonal skills, personal growth, and professional abilities needed to become compassionate healthcare professionals. Healthcare is more than a career path—it is a profound responsibility to serve others, and we embrace that duty with a learning environment that is innovative, creative, and sensitive to the needs of our tri-county district.

From our long-standing programs to our expanding modern offerings, we provide a wide range of rigorous paths designed to meet the evolving needs of our community. Located in our beautiful facility at the north end of the Downtown Redding Promenade, our programs are built on decades of strong, trusted partnerships with local hospitals, health care agencies, and dental facilities. These deep roots ensure our students receive unparalleled hands-on clinical training and graduate ready to step seamlessly into the local workforce.

We invite you to explore our division, discover our programs, and join us in our mission to care for the North State.

Warm regards,
Carie Rosensteel, MS
