English as a Second Language Certificate of Completion (NC)
This certificate of completion (noncredit) serve those students who seek language skills for employment and daily living.
English as a Second Language (ESL)
English as a Second Language instruction helps students whose native language is not English succeed in college and at work. To meet the needs of ESL students, Shasta College offers courses in different levels and skill areas. The program provides both language instruction and cultural orientation. Classes are small and comfortable.

ESL Conversation Café
Come join us for a conversation! Connect with other language learners. When you need help or want to connect with other language learners go to the ESL Conversation Café. Ask a trained ESL tutor to help you understand your readings, as well as plan, edit, and revise your papers. Spanish tutoring is also available.
Make an appointment or just come to Room 819 to see if we are free.
