Shasta College Main Redding Campus Closure Update
Due to the proximity of the Fawn Fire to the main Redding Campus all in-person services and instruction have been cancelled and the campus is closed for Thursday, September 23, 2021.

Due to the proximity of the Fawn Fire to the main Redding Campus all in-person services and instruction have been cancelled and the campus is closed for Thursday, September 23, 2021. In-person class instruction will make appropriate adjustments during this time. Current online courses will continue as planned. Classes at the Downtown Health Science and University Center, Redding Public Library, Tehama, Intermountain, and Trinity Campuses will continue as scheduled.
A determination for Friday, September 24, 2021, will be made no later than 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021, and will be provided via text and email notifications.
We recognize that some students and faculty may be significantly impacted by the evacuation orders for the Fawn Fire. Our faculty have been asked to be a flexible and understanding with students during this time. Please direct questions related to classes to your instructors. We appreciate your patience should you experience delays in receiving a response to your communication during this time.
