Crane Mills is a family-owned company that has been in business since 1931. We own and manage 91,000 acres of mixed conifer timberland primarily in Tehama, Shasta, and Trinity counties. Our office is in Corning, CA and our shop and log yard are in Paskenta, CA. We operate our own mechanized logging side and trucks and will contract additional logging and log hauling capacity when required.
Operator/ Log truck driver
Qualifications:
- Some prior field experience is preferred but not required
- Driver’s license (required)
- Clean DMV record
- Pre-Employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Self-motivated, able to work alone or with others in remote settings, willing to learn
Job Duties for Heavy Equipment Operators:
- Operate Heavy equipment (Skidder, Hotsaw, Cat, Loader, Processor)
- Daily maintenance on equipment
Job Duties for Log Truck Drivers:
- Hauling from logging Site to Mills in the North State
- Maintenance On logging Truck
