Shasta College TRIO SSS is federally funded to serve 180 students. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Eligibility

  • Participants must be enrolled full time at Shasta College, be pursuing a transfer degree, and have at least one of the following federally defined criteria:
  • First generation college student (neither parent, natural or adoptive, has received a four-year (Bachelor's) degree);
  • Income eligible (taxable household income is at or below federally determined guidelines).
  • Student with a documented disability (as defined by the American with Disabilities Act (ADA)) and verified by Shasta Colleges’ Partners in Access to College Education (PACE) office.

Please note that non-U.S. citizens and students who have been awarded a degree or certificate at the time of application are not eligible to participate in the program at this time.
