If you are a current Shasta College Student show your student ID on any RABA bus* and you can Ride for Free through for the 2018 academic year! To be eligible to ride RABA for free, students must show their current Shasta College Student ID card to the bus operator when boarding. The card must have a validation sticker from the current academic semester. Currently, students pay $10 for student IDs at Admissions and Records, however, several programs (including EOPS, CalWORKs, Gateway to College, and TRiO) that have provided students with transportation vouchers will be paying the ID fee for students in their program. Students in programs like these should contact their programs before purchasing an ID on their own.

Spring semester cards are valid from January 9th through May 19th. Some programs, such as those mentioned above, are contemplating providing RABA $10 punch cards for students during winter break (when there would otherwise be no free RABA rides).

*Eligible students will have unlimited and unrestricted ridership on RABA bus services, with no zone restrictions/fares. That is, students can ride RABA for free, including transfer from Shasta Lake City and south county routes; however, the Burney Express service is not part of this agreement.
