Shasta College Concert Orchestra – Fall Auditions

The Shasta College Concert Orchestra is encouraging musicians of all ages to audition for the 2017-2018 season. The Concert Orchestra and its advanced string ensemble, Chamber Strings, are preparing for an exciting semester, including a performance with the North State Symphony at the Cascade Theater. This preparatory orchestra is open to new and returning musicians with developing intermediate to advanced skills, including amateur community musicians, college musicians, and skilled secondary-school musicians. Auditions will be held on Wed., Aug. 16 and Sat., Aug. 19 in the Shasta College Theatre. The first regular rehearsal for all registered students will be Wed., Aug. 23, 4-5:30pm, Room 633.
