Do you excel in a particular subject? Do you enjoy helping others? Consider applying to be a tutor! We run a peer-tutoring center and believe in the importance of students helping students.
Benefits
The benefits of becoming a tutor are many and include receiving an hourly wage, having a convenient job site and being part of a collaborative community, retaining subject area competency, and feeling good about helping others. Tutoring is a wonderful experience to add to a resume and may give you an advantage over your peers when it comes time to apply for internships and other professional opportunities.
Requirements
To be eligible for hire, all applicants must be enrolled in at least 6 units and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
How to Apply
Fill out an application online using the following online peer-tutor application (Microsoft Forms). Submit the completed application online. Please be sure to include a typed list of your projected availability.
