EOPS Services
Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) provides consistent and reliable educational guidance and supplemental financial support to eligible students challenged by economic, educational, and language disadvantages.
How to Apply

Note: EOPS will begin processing Fall 2026 applications in June. A response will be sent to your student email in June.
- Applicants must intend to be enrolled in at least 12 units for the Fall 2026, or have a current PACE accommodation.
- To be considered for Fall 2026 applicants must have a California College Promise Grant awarded for the 2026-2027 academic year.
- To be considered, applicants must have all prior college transcripts on file at Shasta College. Send Transcripts from Other Colleges to Shasta College.
- Priority is given to students early in their academic progress.
- Students that have earned a degree are not eligible.
- Approved applicants, will be required to attend an EOPS orientation.
Program Overview
At EOPS our goal is to help increase the enrollment, retention and transfer of students who experience language, social, economic and educational challenges. EOPS provides several services, including but not limited to, dedicated educational counseling, book services, grants, academic recognition, and graduation services.
Participation Limits
EOPS will provide services to you for 6 semesters (or 8 semesters for Partners in Access to College Education students) as long as you remain in good standing by following your Mutual Responsibility Agreement.
