EOPS Services
Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) provides consistent and reliable educational guidance and supplemental financial support to eligible students challenged by economic, educational, and language disadvantages.
How to Apply
Now accepting applications for SPRING 2026!
(Last day to submit is January 16th, 2026)
Note: The EOPS program is currently at capacity; as a result, EOPS is only accepting students who began their first year of college in this academic year (2025–2026).
- Must intend to be enrolled in at least 12 units for the Spring 2026 semester, or have a current PACE accommodation.
- EOPS will begin processing Spring 2026 applications in November. A response will be sent to your student email.
- If approved, you will be required to attend an EOPS orientation.
- Must have a California College Promise Grant awarded for the 2025-2026 academic year.
- Must have all prior college transcripts on file at Shasta College. Send Transcripts from Other Colleges to Shasta College
Program Overview
At EOPS our goal is to help increase the enrollment, retention and transfer of students who experience language, social, economic and educational challenges. EOPS provides several services, including but not limited to, dedicated educational counseling, book services, grants, academic recognition, and graduation services.
Participation Limits
EOPS will provide services to you for 6 semesters (or 8 semesters for Partners in Access to College Education students) as long as you remain in good standing by following your Mutual Responsibility Agreement.
