Automotive Technology (AS)

Prepares students for employment and advancement in the automotive field.

Automotive Technology (C)

The objective of this certificate is to allow students to gain entry level skills specific to the automotive industry.

Automotive Technology – Automotive Chassis (C)

This certificate is an introduction to automotive chassis systems and prepares students for the CA State Brake and Lamp licensing exams.

Automotive Technology – Automotive Electrical – Electronics (C)

Students study the basic electrical theory and the function, diagnosis, and repair of modern automotive electrical systems.

Automotive Technology – Automotive Engine Performance (C)

Prepares students to be successful as an entry-level technician in vehicle electrical systems repairs.

Automotive Technology – Automotive Heating – Air Conditioning (C)

Students will learn the principles of systems necessary for the installation, design, function, and repair of air conditioning units.

Automotive Technology – Automotive Powertrain (C)

Students will learn the theory, operation, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of drivetrain and automatic transmissions.
