The Student Employment Center is a great resource for the recruitment of Shasta College students and graduates as potential employees! Employers who use our free service include local and out-of-town businesses, homeowners and community members looking for students to help with domestic chores and projects, and campus staff and faculty employing student assistants.

When we receive a job order from an employer, we post the opening on our online job board, on campus bulletin boards, and in the student newspaper. We also contact individual students who may be interested, as well as faculty from related departments who will share the information with students in their classes.

How to Post a Job Opening

  • Organizations may place a job order by completing the online Business Job Order below. Due to time limitations we cannot take job orders over the phone. Businesses are also welcome to send us an email with flyers that they would like posted on campus bulletin boards.
  • Domestic Employers may print the Domestic Job Order below, and return the completed and signed form to our office by mail at P.O. Box 496006, Redding, CA 96049, by email at or in person to Room 2071C at 11555 Old Oregon Trail. Domestic employers are also welcome to submit flyers that they would like posted on bulletin boards.
  • On Campus Employers may print the On Campus Employment Authorization Form below, and return the completed and signed form to our office in Room 2071C. See Human Resources Forms Page for On Campus Student Employment Forms
