Technology
PACE offers various Assistive Technology to provide the following services:
Note-taking Assistance
- Record your lecture, use a smart pen, or utilize notetaking technology.
Text-to-Speech and Screen Reading
- Get your course materials and/or device screen read aloud to you.
Vision Magnification
- Utilize vision magnification devices in the PACE lab, check out an optical magnifier, or use a video magnification device in class.
Speech-to-text / Voice Typing
- Utilize your voice to type.
Computer Access
- Meet with PACE staff to adjust computer settings to successfully access your computer.
Audio Amplification
- Use an FM transmitter to amplify audio and/or utilize auto generated captions on your device.
Helpful Sites & Resources
- Communicate with PACE staff to learn more about free or low-cost resources to support time management, reading comprehension, writing, studying, and more.
