Instructors are an essential partner in providing for the educational needs of students with disabilities. Here is some important information related to the instructor role in fulfilling the academic adjustments/ accommodations that are authorized.

Eligibility Process

It is the students’ responsibility to request accommodations and provide documentation of their disability. Partners in Access to College Education (PACE) office staff may assist students in acquiring verification.

Notification to Instructors about Academic Accommodations

PACE will email instructors a notification letter regarding each student who is granted accommodations for each course. These accommodations are individualized and based on the impact of the disability on the educational setting.
