The Emerging Leaders Institute is for high potential employees and new managers who are ready to focus on core leadership skills and are poised to move up in their organization. Seasoned managers would benefit from this training as well, as they would refresh themselves with current and proven leadership strategies. 

The great thing about this program is that it highlights leadership at all levels which includes members of the executive team, management, supervisors, and lead employees. 

You can pick and choose which workshop best meets your needs, or take all four and receive a certificate of attendance for your professional portfolio.  

Employee Engagement: Improve Performance, Productivity, and Retention

This class will define what Employee Engagement is and what it looks like in the workplace.  Participants learn the difference between engaged, disengaged, and actively disengaged employees, and how they impact the workplace.  Participants learn five key ways to engage employees as well as strategies to implement and help keep employees engaged.  Participants also learn how to re-engage disengaged employees.

Leadership Essentials: What Emerging Leaders Need to Know

This class helps prepare new and emerging leaders to succeed by defining the roles, functions and responsibilities of great leaders.  Participants also learn effective delegation procedures and elements of successful coaching.  They learn how to display professionalism.  A special emphasis is placed on change management.

Emotional Intelligence: Improve Relationships and Increase Productivity

This class is an introduction to the principles of Emotional Intelligence (EQ).  EQ is the ability to identify and understand your emotions and those of others and use this understanding to guide your behavior and manage relationships.  Topics covered include the five competencies of EQ:  self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and effective relationships.

Generational Diversity: Leading Cross-Generational Teams

This is the first time in America's history that we have four generations working side by side in the workplace.  This course is designed to equip participants with knowledge and skills to work with and lead cross-generational teams.

Customer Service Excellence 
We provide interactive modules designed to address customer service scenarios that occur in your business setting ensuring your employees can immediately apply to the job what they have learned. 
Trainings include: 
  • Customer Service Excellence - This training will look to fields of behavioral, psychological, and communication sciences to discover how to navigate any service encounter well by understanding human beings' motivations for doing what they do. Particular attention will be on developing interpersonal communication strategies to manage the impressions, perceptions, and expectations of customers through precise thoughts, words, and actions.

Learn the 4 Behavior Styles and how to adjust your approach to work better with each of the other styles. If you have co-workers that are challenging to work with, you can gain insights on how to boost your effectiveness in commuicating with them and therefore improve your working relationships.
  • Productivity & Time Management - Learn techniques to boost your productivity, improve your energy, manage your time, and how to start being more effective. You'll determine where you feel effective in life and where you need some assistance. You'll learn ways to make your calendar more manageable. 
  • Effectively Managing Change - A large part of mastering change involves dealing with the effects of change on our lives. As your organization undergoes a change, you will have to move through a transition yourself. Managing Change will equip you to manage this personal transition while you navigate through tumultuous waves of organizational change. 
  • Leadership Skills for New Managers - So you know your position in your field, now you've been promoted to a supervisory or management role. Learn how to make the transition and learn techniques to deal with issues such as; how to relate to friends that now report to you; ways to handle negative issues such as rumors and bad attitudes; and, how to create a supportive team environment. Work through real life examples and learn what it takes to be a leader and a manager.
