Who We Are!

  • The Shasta College Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) is a community of older adults who are brought together by their intellectual curiosity and love of learning.
  • The LLI offers many stimulating workshops - workshops that provide another opportunity to make new friends, share interests, and to be a lifelong learner.
  • Older adults have goals and interests, and lifelong learning provides them the opportunity to pursue and enjoy them, as well as discover new passions.
  • The LLI is different from academic classes, there are no tests and no grades. The institute focuses on the love of learning and the excitement of discussing something new.
