The Career Cafe provides district-wide support and resources for making career decisions and acquiring the occupational information necessary for career planning. Students are invited to drop in or make appointments with the Café’s dedicated counselor who will guide them through their interests, skills, and exploration tools. Students are also encouraged to work with the internship/worksite learning coordinator to access on-the-job training and work experience opportunities.

The Café’s team offers a variety of workshops and activities, in collaboration with faculty and employers, designed to expose students to a diverse profile of career options throughout the tri-county district so all Shasta College students can confidently transition from education to employment.
