Purpose of Master Gardeners
The purpose of the group is to unite the Master Gardeners of Shasta College in a single self-governing body that will assist Shasta, Tehama and Trinity Counties in its basic mission of disseminating University of California research-based horticultural information to the general public.

The Master Gardener Office is staffed by volunteers with limited hours, so if your call is not answered by a Master Gardener, please leave a message and a Master Gardener will call you back with an answer to your question .
From May to November Master Gardener are available to answer questions at the Certified Farmers Market by the Redding City Hall on Cypress Ave. from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm every Saturday.
