Upon graduation, she worked for four years with the Prevention Department at Peace Over Violence (POV) in Los Angeles, California. As the Community Education Projects Manager at POV, she oversaw and managed the Rape Prevention Education (RPE) grant funded program, local community education grants and the Violence Prevention Specialist Volunteer Training and Program.

Jessie has completed the following trainings: 40-hour state certified Domestic Violence, 48-hour Sexual Assault Counselor Certification, 30-hour Trauma Informed Care, Ojai Foundation Council Circle, Collective Wisdom, Cultural Humility, LGBTQ-Safe Zone Training, 40-hour Clery Act Compliance Training Academy and Mental Health First Aid.

Jessie joined the Campus Safety team as the Compliance Coordinator and Shasta CARES Program Director in April 2016. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, dancing, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
